I gave this a try since I usually use another brand, and the six cats I treated on Aug.3 are "flea-ridden" again. The price was good but I would have paid a little more for a more effective product. Sorry, but a big "thumbs down" for this stuff.

Directions:
Do not bathe your cat prior (48-72 hours... the longer the better) and after applying the product. The way advantage oil spreads on your kitty's body is via the oils that naturally occur on your pet's skin surface. Washing your pet will dry their skin and will make the product ineffective or at least much less potent. Secondly when applying, make sure to pull apart the tiny hairs on the base of the skull, as you'd be wasting the product applying it onto the fur.
I noticed immediate improvement in my cat's scratching within 1 day of application, and after 2 days the black "flea feces" were nowhere to be found in his fur.
I am very happy with this product, delivery and its price.

This product is a must for anyone treating fleas on their cat. Don't be fooled by the lower price stuff, it can be dangerous to your cat. I tried something cheaper and one of them reacted badly, so buying real Advantage is definitely worth it.
